Hazrat Sheikh Hafiz Ibrahim Naqshbandi was born on 8th Rajab 1395 (A.H) at Karachi. He moved to Lahore at the age of 3 years and has been living there since then. His father shiekh Mohammad Salim (db) is a devout personality. As quoted by Hazrat Ibrahim (db), He is supervising the construction and extension of Khanqah. Shiekh Mohammad Yaqoob, the grand father of Hazrat Ibrahim (db) was very close to Hazrat Moulana Ghulam Habib (may Allah shower his blessings upon him). Hazrat Yaqoob was the hand behind Hazrat Ibrahim who guided his grand son to Hazrat Moulana peer Zulfiqar Naqshbandi (db). Shiekh Mohammad Yaqoob also took him to his family business in 1990 when he completed learning of Holy Quran from world famous Jamia Ashrafia of Lahore. Shiekh Ibrahim is still engaged with this business with the mission of promoting of message of Allah (swt) beside earning for living.

Hazrat Shiekh Ibrahim joined Hazrat Mohammad peer Zulfiqar (Hazrat Jee db) to learn the lessons of sulook (journey to kindness) in 2003 and his endeavours reached to the level in 2008, when Hazrat peer Zulfiqar (db) awarded him permission (khilafat) to extent the message of Allah swt to other people in accordance to the path defined in Naqshbandi.

Hazrat Ibrahim has been very actively extending this gift (of khilafat) from his Shiekh, Hazrat Jee for the benefit of other people (may Allah give him long life with full strength and blessing). With the permision of Hazrat Jee , He established khanqah at Ambala House, House No. 31/A lane No 2 Sector A-1, GECH Gate No 2 Township, Lahore. This khanqah is also working now, as Jamia Ruqayyah lilbinaat (for girls), may Allah spread its benefits to all muslims, ameen. Another Branch of this Jamia has also started near Shah Jamal, Lahore. Both of these institutes are supervised internally by the wife of Hazrat Shiekh Ibrahim , who is also a graduate scholar (aalima) from Hamna Centre, where she has been teaching for five years. Now she is teaching and supervising her Jamia Ruqiya for girls.

In addition to his preachings at his Khanqah, Hazrat Ibrahim has very busy schedule of lectures at different places. At least five preaching lectures are normally scheduled every week, and no single day is free of any lectures. Similarly his wife is also busy in conducting lectures at different places beside maintaining her household and responsibilities of Jamia Ruqayah. She goes to deliver lectures at other places while abiding by all shariah rules.

The Biography of his legendry sheikh, Hazrat Moulana peer Zulfiqar Naqshbandi (db) talks about Hazrat Ibrahim in following words; Basically he belongs to Karachi. He is Hafize Quran. He is attached with Hazrat Jee for a long time. He remain connected with Hazrat Jee for rectifications and guidance. He is a pious young man. He has been guided by Hazrat Jee and eventually, he awarded him with the responsibility of Khilafat. He is actively working for this mission. He spend three days a month in Karachi and deliver programs in different mosques, which is beneficial for many people.
